The outer shell of the FreeRun Leashes housing is made from injection-molded plastic, a process known for producing incredibly strong, lightweight parts with high impact resistance. This same type of plastic is used in high-performance gear, including Burton® snowboard bindings, and North Face® equipment.

The key components are made from a combination of:

Performance-Tested Leash:
The leash is made from high-tenacity polyester narrow-woven webbing (NWF), the same material used in seat belts. It is extremely strong with minimal stretch with excellent abrasion and UV resistance.

Stainless Steel:
Rust-proof and incredibly strong, used for high-stress areas.

Injection-Molded Plastic:
Provides strength, resilience, and smooth functionality.

Welded Stainless Steel Pin:
The leash itself is anchored to a stainless steel pin that is welded securely into place. This ensures that the connection point remains rock-solid under pressure.

Absolutely LOVE this leash! 😍 The retractable system works perfectly — smooth, strong, and super easy to use. It rolls in and out effortlessly and feels very secure. The harness fits great and is really comfortable for my dog. Such a great quality product, I 100% recommend it!

Country dog's dream leash

This leash is a game changer. We walk in rural areas, where generally Bear can be off leash. But there is the occasional paved road to cross, the car coming along. More often- an exciting deer or coyote sighting/scenting. Then I am SO happy I am not fumbling to clip a leash on my excited, 70 lb dog. A quick grab, a quick treat and everyone is safe: dog, deer, coyote, car driver. If there is a lot of wildlife around, I can clip a separate leash onto the grab handle of my FreeRun and Bear can meander without worry. The quality of this harness/leash is exceptional. I just got my second one because I love the purple. But I have had the first one since the company started and it is still as strong as ever, if considerably more doggy. As I said above-holds an active 70 lb dog with no chafing, smooth action and little wear and tear after years of daily use. Highly recommend!

We love this Harness leash in one!

My Golden-Springer and hike several times a week in Alaska. This harness has made us feel so safe out on our hikes ! It frees up having to carry a leash and try to connect it quickly when needing to share the trail with wildlife or others!
