The FreeRun Family
Safety First
Don’t let the compact design fool you, the FreeRun leash housing is engineered for serious performance. Lab-tested to withstand up to 225 pounds of pull and torque. The leash is made from high-tenacity polyester narrow-woven webbing (NWF), the same material used in seat belts. It is extremely strong with minimal stretch with excellent abrasion and UV resistance.
The internal components are made from a combination of Stainless Steel that will not rust, is incredibly strong, and used for high-stress areas. The leash itself is anchored to a stainless steel pin that is welded securely into place.
The housing unit is made of the same type of injected molded plastic used in high-performance gear, including Burton® snowboard bindings, and North Face® equipment.
