A Great Fit Means A Better Experience For Both You And Your Pup
A proper fit ensures the leash system works as designed. Before the first use, let your dog see the harness and hear the leash extend and retract a few times. This helps them get familiar with the sound before having it on their back. Some dogs may need a little time to adjust to the new sound. Follow the simple steps for fitting your harness.
Step 1: Initial Adjustment
Start by making an educated guess on the correct strap length. Release both buckles on the left side, guide the right front leg through, and gently bring the harness up over the dog's back and refasten the buckles.
Step 2: Fitting Process
When customizing your pups fit, remove the harness to adjust the straps as needed, then try it on again. When properly fitted, the harness should be snug. You should be able to fit two flat fingers between the harness straps and your dog's body.
Step 3: Final Adjustments
Once you're happy with the fit, you can trim off any excess strap length and tuck the tabs in the little pockets.
