The outer shell of the FreeRun Leashes housing is made from injection-molded plastic, a process known for producing incredibly strong, lightweight parts with high impact resistance. This same type of plastic is used in high-performance gear, including Burton snowboard bindings, and North Face equipment. The leash is made from high-tenacity polyester narrow-woven webbing (NWF), the same material used in seat belts.

The harness comes in two sizes and can accommodate dogs from 15 to 90 lbs. The long straps make it customizable for dogs of all body shapes. It is lightweight, comfortable and waterproof, making it ideal for hiking, running, swimming and everyday walks. When allowing your dog the freedom to be off-leash, reliable recall is essential. The harness is not recommended for dogs
that do not demonstrate good recall.

Leashing/unleashing is incredibly easy. Your hands are free from having to repeatedly attach/detach a leash and from carrying a dirty, dusty leash. The harness and leash are consolidated, so storing gear is easier. Tangled leashes are eliminated when your dog meets another dog by simply letting go of the handle. Gaining control of your dog is fast and easy - just grab the handle.

The leash is 3 feet long when fully extended and there is no lock. At 3 feet, the leash is the ideal length to keep your dog by your side in busy places and short enough to control them if necessary. The configuration also contributes to lightweight comfort for your dog.

The leash has been strength tested to withstand 200 lbs. of torque and tension.

All internal parts are made of stainless steel and the leash housing unit is made of high-end injected molded plastic. The patented housing unit has small drain holes in the bottom to let any trapped water out. The leash is made of soft, high strength nylon webbing that is comfortable to hold, lightweight, and extremely strong. The entire system is water safe, so your dog can swim while wearing it.

We recommend hand washing using warm water and diluted soap. Wipe down with a moistened cloth or submerge in water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not put the harness in the washer or dryer.

Yes, FreeRun Leashes comes with a lifetime warranty. We are happy to replace any part that may break over time with regular wear and tear. The warranty is void if there are any signs of after-purchase manipulation, modification, or damage.
